LOVE BEYOND THE NORM

3,401

How do I love her? Let me
count the ways.
I love her to the depth
and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when
feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and
ideal grace.
I love her to the level of
every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun
and candle-light.
I love her freely, as men
strive for right.
I love her purely, as they
turn from praise.
I love her with the
passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with
my childhood’s faith.
I love her with a love I
seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love
her with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life;
and, if God choose,
I shall but love her better
after death.

CONFIRMED! NEYMAR JOINS SPANISH CHAMPIONS FC BARCELONA

55

Barcelona have agreed the
signing of the Brazilian
Neymar from Santos with
the 21-year-old signing a
five-year contract, the club
said. The striker confirmed
that he will sign his contract
on Monday.
A Barcelona statement read:
“FC Barcelona and Santos
have agreed to terms for
Neymar da Silva Santos
Junior. The Brazilian
forward will don the
Blaugrana strip for the
next five seasons. The 21-
year old is one of the most
promising footballers on the
planet.”
Neymar had been
considering his future after
Santos revealed on
Saturday they had accepted
two offers for their star
player, with Barça
confirmed as one of the
bidders and Real Madrid
widely assumed to be the
other.
Neymar wrote on the web:
“I’m here with friends and
family and they have
helped me to write a few
things here. I’m not going
to hold out until Monday. My
family and friends already
know my decision. On
Monday I will sign a
contract with Barcelona.”
The forward’s contract at
Santos was due to expire
at the end of next season
and some reports had
suggested an agreement
with Barcelona was reached
as much as a year ago.
Neymar wrote: “I want to
thank the fans of Santos
for these incredible nine
years. My feeling for the
club and the fans will never
change. It is eternal!
“Only a club like Santos
could give me everything I
have experienced on and
off the field. I thank the
wonderful fans who
supported me even in the
most difficult moments.
Titles, goals, dribbling,
celebrations and songs that
fans created for me will be
forever in my heart…”
Neymar was hoping to say
goodbye to Santos fans at
Sunday’s season-opening
game against Flamengo. “I
made sure I could play the
match in Brasilia,” he said.
“I want to have the
opportunity to once again
take the field and hear the
crowd scream my name … It
is a strange time for me,
sad and happy new
challenge. May God bless
me in my choices … And I’m
always a Santos fan.”
In a statement, Santos said
they had made every effort
to keep hold of the player.
It read: “Santos announces
that it has received
notification from the athlete
Neymar Jr advising that he
has decided to accept the
proposal of Barcelona. The
transfer of playmaker to
the Spanish team will be
sealed in the coming days.
“After refusing a offers of
many millions for Neymar Jr
since mid-2010, and
implemented a career plan
that allowed his historic
stay in Brazil for several
years, bucking the trend of
Brazilian football to quickly
sell its greatest talents,
Santos finally agreed to
sell.
“Every effort was made to
keep him in Brazil as long
as possible, even offering
to renew the current
contract, which ended in
July 2014. At this time,
however, it was not
possible to compete with
the terms offered from
abroad, which affected the
decision of the player to
review his professional life.
“Due to the confidentiality
agreement, and by mutual
agreement, the terms of the
transfer will not be
disclosed by any of the
parties.”

PHONE REVIEW – SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 IS A SUPER SMARTPHONE

187

The handset comes with a
5-inch screen, a 13-
megapixel camera, and 4G
LTE service. With up to
64GB of onboard storage
and a design that has put
Apple on notice that it’s a
true competitor to worry
about, the handset is
outstanding. It’s no
surprise, then, that
Samsung recently
announced that Galaxy S 4
sales have topped 10
million in fewer than 30
days, easily besting the
previous Galaxy record set
by its predecessor, the
Galaxy S3. The Galaxy S 4
is also the fastest-selling

Android-based smartphone
to-date, making it the de
facto leader in the mobile
space.
Simply put, the Galaxy S 4
has earned its spot as the
most popular smartphone
on the today’s market
because, well, it’s the best
smartphone on the market.
Apple’s iPhone, the HTC
One, and the BlackBerry
Z10 have nothing on the
Galaxy S 4. And it’s about
time Samsung receives the
accolades it deserves.
Coping in the Chaos?
Read on to find out why the
Galaxy S 4 is today’s best
smartphone:

1. What a beautiful
display
Once a person holds the
Galaxy S 4 in their hands,
they’ll find that it’s one of
the most special devices,
from a visual perspective
to ever hit the market. The
device’s 5-inch screen
shows colors and fast
movement beautifully, and
with a 441 pixels per inch,
it’s a higher HD than
anything the average
person has seen. It’s
downright gorgeous. 2.
Listen to the
consumers
Perhaps consumers can
help determine what
smartphone is truly best
for the average person.
After all, if 10 million Galaxy
S 4 units were sold during
its first 30 days of
availability
, that means the devices
has impressed a lot of
people in a short period of
time. It’s a sign that
Samsung truly understands
consumers. 3. Samsung’s
software features
Samsung doesn’t simply
stick with the standard
version of Android in its
handsets. Instead, the
company delivers its own
interface on top of the
operating system, called
TouchWiz. The idea is to
make it seem like it’s a
unique version of Android.
And with help new software
features, like a touchless
interface that doesn’t
require direct input from a
finger, the Galaxy S 4 is an
impressive device. 4. A
design that customers
like
Between the Galaxy S 3 and
the S 4
, not much changed in terms
of
product design – just a
few key new features. But
that’s OK. Samsung has
found that people like its
product design, since it’s
easy to fit into a pocket
and it compares nicely to
the iPhone 5. Why fix
something that isn’t
broken?

FORMULA 1=> NICO ROSBERG WINS MONACO GRAND PRIX

4,586

MONACO—Nico Rosberg set
the fastest qualifying time
at the Monaco Grand Prix
on Saturday to secure his
third consecutive pole
position and the fourth
straight for Mercedes.
The German driver finished
ahead of teammate Lewis
Hamilton. With Monaco’s
track the hardest for
passing on the Formula One
circuit, Mercedes has a
good shot at its first win of
the season on Sunday.
The 27-year-old Rosberg,
who has spent much of his
life in Monaco, climbed out
of the cockpit and clenched
both fists.
“Very special for sure. I’ve
grown up here, gone to
school here,” he said. “The
way I race through the
tunnel is the way I went to
school.”
Defending F1 champion
Sebastian Vettel starts
third, ahead of Red Bull
teammate Mark Webber,
last year’s Monaco winner.
Red Bull drivers were 1-2
with just over a minute
remaining in qualifying, but
Mercedes again showed it
is near-untouchable on
one-lap speed, despite
tricky weather conditions
with the track damp from
frequent bursts of rain
around lunchtime and again
early in the afternoon
session.
“It was changing so much
(that) you have to be on
the right tires at the right
time. Everything went to
plan and the last lap went
OK,” said Rosberg. “It
definitely could have been
easier. The conditions were
all over the place, and then
it started drizzling again so
the lap times got a lot
slower.”
Rosberg has one career
win, and his best this
season was fourth at the
Malaysian GP. He may not
have a better chance given
how tough it is to overtake
in Monaco.
“We know they’re quick on
one lap,” Vettel said. “I
don’t want that to sound
like an excuse. There was
more than a tenth (of a
second) missing. I think I
had that today, but it didn’t
come together on the last
lap. If anyone is to blame,
then it’s me. The car was
very good.”

BAYERN WIN UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2013 THANKS TO ARJEN ROBBEN

167

Bayern Munich are the
European Champions, thank
to a brilliant late flurry and
an 89th minute winner by
Arjen Robben. Borussia
B
Dortmund gave the
Bavarians more trouble
than most anticipated, but
didn’t have enough to
overcome their Bundesliga
rivas as Bayern won 2-1 to
lift the Champions League
trophy.
Jürgen Klopp opted to stick
with his regular formation,
even in the absence of
Mario Götze, playing Kevin
Großkreutz on the wing and
moving Marco Reus inside.
There were some
grumblings that Sebastian
Kehl might start, moving
Ilkay Gündogan up the
pitch, but Klopp opted for
the alternative.
Jupp
Heynckes’ team contained
no surprises, though
Bastian Schweinsteiger
picked up a pre-game
knock. Bayern’s star
midfielder was still able to
start.
Lewandowski, in particular,
was extremely active and
consistently terrorized the
Bayern center of defense.
Dortmund were surprisingly
the much more assertive
team in the early going,
though they failed to turn
their chances into a first
half goal. Robert
Lewandowski had the
game’s first shot on target
in the 3rd minute and went
close with a rocket just
wide in the 13th minute. Der
BVB kept the pressure on,
and just one minute after
that effort by Lewandowski,
Manuel Neuer was called
into action and made an
excellent reaction save at
the near post on a low shot
by Jakub Blazczykowski.
Bayern were kept on their
heels until the 25th minute.
Reus had a long-range
effort saved by Neuer in
the 19th minute after he
was slipped in on goal by
Großkreutz, Sven Bender
also had an effort from 12
yards saved by Neuer,
though he should have
done quite a bit better to
elude the Bayern keeper.
In the 25th minute, referee
Nicola Rizzoli failed to spot
an elbow by
Franck
Ribery to the face of
Lewandowski, and in fact,
gave a free kick the other
way. Coincidentally, that
seemed to be a bit of a
turning point in the first
half. Dortmund didn’t go
away after that, but Bayern
came into the game and
looked the slightly better
side until the end of the
period.
Just a minute after the
elbow, Roman Weidenfeller
was forced into a massive
save on Mario Mandžukić.
Ribery whipped in a
beautiful cross towards the
back post that the Croatian
international met with his
head, and Weidenfeller just
barely got a finger to the
ball to tip it onto the bar
and out for a corner.
Weidenfeller was forced
into a similarly brilliant
save in the 30th minute,
though Robben probably
should have scored. The
Bayern winger was left all
alone on the right flank
after a through ball from
Thomas Müller and had a
ton of time and space to
dribble in on goal and
manufacture a shot.
However, he dwelled on the
ball too long and
Weidenfeller made a
brilliant decision to rush
out, then block Robben’s
late attempt.
Not wanting to be undone,
Neuer produced another
excellent save of his own
five minutes later,
executing an impressive
kick save from close range
on Lewandowski after he
was slipped into the box.
He was played in by Reus
and beat
Jerome
Boateng — who looked
slow throughout the half
after picking up a knock —
easily for pace. It looked
like Boateng might need to
be relieved by a
substitution, but he came
out to start the second half.
Boateng didn’t look much
better in the second half,
but it didn’t matter much for
Bayern in the early going.
Dortmund didn’t attack with
the same pace as they did
early on, Bayern took
control, and eventually
they found a goal.
In the 60th minute, Bayern
Munich took the lead with a
fantastic move down the
left flank. Robben and
Ribery overloaded the
same side of the pitch, and
Dortmund had no answer.
Ribery picked out Robben in
the box, beating two
defenders with his pass,
and Robben slid a ball
across the face of goal. No
one tracked the run of
Mandžukić, who was free to
tap in the finish to put his
team ahead 1-0.
Bayern stayed on top, but
gave Dortmund a free route
back into the game in the
67th minute, thanks to a
terrible foul in the box by
Dante. He let the ball
bounce in the box when he
could have cleared earlier,
then put his leg up high and
into the stomach of Reus.
Rizzoli correctly pointed to
the spot, but refused to
send off Dante, who was
already on a yellow.
Gündogan stepped up and
buried the penalty to level
the score.
At least temporarily, the
Bavarians seemed to lose
their composure. Not long
after the spot kick was
converted, Bayern gave
the ball away in midfield and
left a ton of space for
Dortmund to counter into.stitute a
foul, but Lewandowski
clearly stepped on the
ankle of Boateng with his
studs after he had fallen to
the ground. Surprisingly,
though he was hobbled well
before the incident,
Boateng continued.
Things appeared to be
settling down in anticipation
of extra time, but Bayern
turned on the style late and
found an eventual winner.
Weidenfeller made a
spectacular save in the
87th minute on a shot from
Schweinsteiger, but he only
delayed Dortmund’s
eventual heartbreak. An
even better move was Der
BVB’s undoing in the 89th
minute, with Robben scoring
the game-winning goal.
Ribery set up the goal by
backing down his defender
and receiving a ball off his
chest, then playing behind
with a backheel. His pass
wasn’t perfect, but Robben
blew by his defender and
run the race to the ball. He
took one touch to round
Hummels, a second to set
up a shot, then a third to
tap the ball to the left of a
helpless Weidenfeller, who
could do nothing as the ball
rolled into the back of the
net.
After two failures in the
Champions League final in
the last three years,
Bayern Munich are
champions of Europe for
the first time since 2001.

SIGNS THAT SHE WANTS YOU TO MAKE A MOVE

2,472

1) She has not resisted
being alone with you
on AT LEAST 2
instances.
Women are masters at
avoiding awkward one-on-
one situations with men
they don’t like. They would
rather take a long walk
down the street on a hot
day than to spend 15
minutes alone with a
disgusting guy she has no
sexual interest in on a bus.
Even if you have a group
project meeting and you
came early and found her
early as well… she will not
want to spent personal time
with you if she doesn’t
have an interest in you.
She will likely whip out her
iPhone and fiddle on a
worthless APP or talk to a
friend on an urgent call
instead of talking to you on
an individual basis.
She may give you that one
chance on a first
coincidental incident to be
alone with her. If she does
not like what you have put
her through, there will
NEVER be a second time.
So when she has allowed
herself to be alone with her
on at least 2 occasions, it’s
time to step up your game.
2) She reveals her
cleavage to you AND
does not fix it when
you call her on it.
Women wear alluring
dresses all the time but
gives a look of disgust
whenever a guy checks her
out. There is a common
misconception that women
dress that way to RAISE
their attraction to men.
The reality of what’s going
on is that women dress that
way to RAISE their
attraction for that ONE man
that means something to
her. Every banana means
nothing to her EXCEPT that
ONE banana.
There’s a lot of psychology
going on here. Like making
the man she wants see that
she has a very high value
to other men. But I’m not
going to go into that.
Next time you managed to
steal a peek at her
cleavage, call her out on it.
If she does nothing to fix it
or “fix” it just to easily
reveal her depth to you 3
seconds later, you have
been given the all-clear to
make your move.
3) She leans over you
Women are instinctively
more cleanliness inclined.
Most would rather go
without a meal than to have
any body contact at all with
a man she has no interest
in. However, when women
are interested in a man,
any amount of body contact
is NOT ENOUGH no matter
what a piece of junk he is.
Place yourself between her
and her handbag and see if
she leans over you to grab
her stuff. She may ask you
to pass her her bag or
move around you to get
her bag. But if she leans
over you and is not
bothered with brushing her
body against yours, you
have got a winner here.
Remember to spank her for
being naughty when she
leans over.
4) She laughs at every
lame joke you make
This is as obvious as it
gets. When everyone in the
group has no idea what the
crap you mean when you
told that lame joke while
she is the only one that
“gets it”, you can bet your
Star Wars figurines that
she is interested in you.
Sometimes someone in the
group will ask her if she
understood your joke… and
she cannot explain…
Priceless.
5) She contacts you at
ODD hours
Let’s face it. Humans wake
in the day and sleep at
night. We are conditioned to
do so. The only logical
reason you will stay up way
into the night is if you are
working on that million
dollar proposal you boss
demands from you
tomorrow.
Odd hours between 1am –
6am are VERY personal
time. So when she text or
calls you during these
hours when you are
expected to be asleep, she
is already making a bold
move to risk waking you up
from your beauty sleep.
She is thinking about you
and wants you to know
that… even if it means that
you only sees her text
message or missed call
later in the morning when
you wake up. She WANTS
you to know that she was
thinking about you late into
the night rolling in her bed.
Please relieve her from her
mental torture and make a
move on her fast
6) She tells her friends
about you
Women cares about how
their friends think about
their partners much more
than men do. In fact, I
would go to the extent to
say that the BIGGEST
reason women look for MR
RIGHT is so that they can
show their friends that they
have found MR RIGHT. Not
because Mr Right is so right
for her.
This means that when she
tells her friends about you,
she is taking a risk of
looking like an idiot who
has fallen for a loser who
may not like her back. So to
tell her friends means that
she has confidence of
closing the deal with you
while attempting to get
“approval” from her
friends to move forward
with you.
Note: DO NOT be a wuss
and ask her what she told
her friends about you.
7) She is fine going to
your place alone
This is the MOTHER of all
signals. Please flick
yourself if you are still
confused if a woman likes
you when she has already
spent time at your place
ALONE.
The truth is that anything
can be done outside a
home. If she willingly puts
herself in a vulnerable
situation like going to your
place ALONE… your
TERRITORY… she is literally
BEGGING you to step up like
a man and claim her.
No woman would likely risk
being called a slut for
casually going to a man’s
place alone just “to watch
football”.
Remember that even when
women sends you clear
signs that she is interested
in you, it does not mean
that she wants you to
ravage her body like a
porno movie. It simply
means that she is open to
moving forward with you.
You still have to smoothly
lead her through the mating
ritual to make her your
girlfriend.

FAST AND FURIOUS ESSA MOHAMMED WINS PUMA ZAMBIA INTERNATIONAL RALLY 2013

1,014

AFRICAN champion
Mohammed Essa yesterday
retained the Puma Energy
Zambia International Rally
title after winning the 490
kilometres event by 6:47
minutes to bounce back in
contention for the
continental crown.
The win takes Essa into
joint third position with Eric
Pages of Ivory Coast and
South Africa’s Jan Habig
who were jointly leading the
FIA African Rally
Championship (ARC) before
the Zambia rally that counts
as the third round this
season.
Rwanda’s Giancarlo Davite
made his maiden Zambia
finish in four years by
securing second place to
move to the summit of the
ARC with 33 points, three
points ahead of national
champion Jassy Singh who
finished fifth, while Essa,
Pages and Habig are joint
third on 25 points apiece.
Uganda’s Jas Mangat
finished third to secure 15
points in African race going
into the fourth round, the
Puma Energy Rally
Tanzanian which would be
staged in Dar-es-Salaam
where Essa and Jassy
would be hoping accrue
additional points.
Essa’s recently acquired
Prodrive Subaru Impreza
N2010 R4 coupled with his
skills proved too strong for
his competitions in the rally
that started with 14 cars on
Friday ending with eight
with two others in the
Super Rally.
He prevailed after timing
three 3:08:35 hours, while
Davite in a Mitsubishi Evo X
brought home 3:15:22 hours
with Mangat in a Subaru
N12 clocking 3:19:53 hours.
Monze-based and crowd
favourite, Kenny Mukosa
produced a scintillating
performance in a Subaru N8
to finish fourth with a time
of 3:38:07 hours, ahead of
Jassy who defied a damage
to his Subaru N10’s front
differential to finish fifth in
3:43:40 hours.
Danni Beani in a Subaru
N10 emerged fifth on
3:57:43 hours, while 18-
year-old debutant Toofail
Dalal in a Subaru GC8 pulled
sixth position after clocking
4:23:23 hours.
And speaking in the service
park after finishing the last
stage on Graham Ray farm,
Essa said he was happy
that he had retained his
title, adding that it was a
fantastic feeling and that
his main focus was to also
retain the Puma Energy
Rally Tanzania.
He said the win has
boasted his morale of
accumulating more points in
the subsequent ARC
competition next after
failing to record any points
during the Sasol Rally in
South Africa last month
when he crashed out on the
first stage on the rally.
“Last year we started on a
good note with a new car
and we won 11th ARC and
now this year we have
another new car, it is
fantastic to retain my title,
now our focus is now on
winning the Tanzania one,”
Essa said.
Meanwhile Jassy said he
failed to put up a good
show at the championship
because his car suffered a
broken front differential in
the morning stages of
Saturday and had to rally
on two wheels in the rest of
that stages.

ATHLETICO FRUSTRATES REAL MADRID AND CROWNED COPA DEL REY CHAMPIONS 2013 AS RONALDO GETS A RED CARD!

171

The Copa del Rey trophy
was supposed to be coach
Jose Mourinho’s parting gift
for Real Madrid, or at least
a consolation prize after a
season that will be
remembered for his
abrasive antics and his
team’s failure to win
silverware.
Instead, Atletico Madrid
ended a 14-year winless
run against its city rival by
taking the title on Friday,
coming from behind for a
cathartic 2-1 win in extra
time after Mourinho and his
star forward Cristiano
Ronaldo were sent off.
Brazilian defender Miranda
headed in Jorge “Koke”
Resurrecion’s cross in the
eighth minute of extra time
to give Atletico its 10th
Copa del Rey title and first
since 1996.
“This is for our fans that
have suffered for 14
years,” Atletico’s captain
Gabi Fernandez said
as he
received the trophy from
Spain’s King Juan Carlos.
“This team worked hard for
this and deserved it.”
Ronaldo appeared to have
put Madrid on its way to yet
another victory over its
crosstown rivals when he
headed in a goal in the 14th
minute. But Atletico refused
to fold and Radamel Falcao
set up Diego Costa to level
10 minutes before halftime.
Mourinho was sent off for
protesting a decision in the
76th. Likely heading back to
England in the off-season,
he will finish his last
campaign in Madrid without
a title after it lost the
Spanish league to
Barcelona and bowed out of
the Champions League
semifinals.
“This is my worst season. I
have never not won an
important title. You can say
I failed this season,”
Mourinho said. “With one
final, a semifinal, a second-
place finish, and a Spanish
Supercup, for many other
coaches it would have been
a good season. For me it’s
the worst.”
Mourinho repeated that he
would decide his future with
club president Florentino
Perez after the season
ends in early June,
although there is strong
expectation he will return
to former club Chelsea.
Ronaldo received a straight
red card for kicking Gabi in
the face in the 114th,
setting off a sideline scuffle
between the benches.
Atletico goalkeeper Thibaut
Courtois was struck in the
head by an object thrown
from the Santiago Bernabeu
stands shortly afterward.
Atletico also ended the
match with 10 men when
Gabi was sent off seconds
before the final whistle for
a second yellow card. But
that came too late to
prevent a victory that
even the coach
acknowledged was a lucky
one, with Madrid’s shots
repeatedly hitting the frame
of the goal.
“We had the good fortune
that a champion needs,”
said Atletico coach Diego
Simeone, who added the
cup to the Europa League
title won last year. “What
these players have done
for the past year and a half
is amazing. I don’t have
words for it.”
Following years of
frustration and accumulated
doubt after failing to beat
Madrid in 25 games since
1999, Atletico had to
overcome an opening goal
by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, who scored the
extra-time winner that beat
Barcelona and give Madrid
the 2011 Copa title, looked
set to play the starring role
once again when he rose
over a defender to head in
Luka Modric’s corner and
net his 55th goal of the
season.
But the Portugal forward let
the emotion of the game’s
final minutes get the best of
him, hurting his side when
he left it a man down just
when it most needed his
help.
Mourinho spent the game in
the dugout after being
jeered before the match by
both sets of fans, with the
home supporters upset at
his dropping of iconic
goalkeeper Iker Casillas
and supposed desire to
return to England.
When he did emerge, he
didn’t last long as the
referee dismissed him for
vehemently protesting a
foul.
Atletico held firm after
Ronaldo’s opener and were
rewarded with an equalizer.
Falcao held off Raul Albiol’s
tackle, spun with the ball,
and placed a perfectly
weighted pass for Diego
Costa to run clear and
drive a left-footed strike
under ‘keeper Diego Lopez.
“Incredible,” Falcao said,
on the point of tears. “We
are so happy for this win.
We have to enjoy this.”
Madrid came alive after
Atletico equalized, and
Mesut Ozil volleyed a long
strike off the right post a
minute from halftime.
The tension increased in
the second half both in the
stands and on the pitch, as
Madrid began to tilt the
action toward Atletico’s
area and soon had two
golden chances in the 61st
when Karim Benzema fired a
loose ball off the upright.
Ozil then pounced on the
rebound and with Courtois
off line seemed sure to
score, but defender
Juanfran Torres blocked
his shot on the goalline.
In the 68th it was Ronaldo’s
turn to curse the goal
frame when he fooled the
defensive wall by slotting
his free kick at the edge of
the box under Mario
Suarez as he jumped, only
to see it crash off the post.
“It isn’t normal to hit the
post three times,” said
Mourinho. “You don’t have
to be an expert to think
that
that Atletico isn’t the just
winner. But in football all
that is forgotten, the posts,
the referee, and Atlent Aitor Karanka
made all three changes at
the start of extra time. But
even though Madrid had
the fresher legs, it was
Atletico that surged back in
front for good.
Lopez saved Diego Costa’s
back-to-back tries in the
95th, but he couldn’t stop
Miranda from meeting an
out-swinging cross to
score at the near post by
nodding the ball under the
goalkeeper and into the net
to send the fans clad in red
and white into ecstasy.
Madrid wasn’t done and
only Courtois’ goalkeeping
protected its lead with
stops to deny Gonzalo
Higuain in the 104th and
then Ozil in four minutes
into the second added
period when he stretched
to deflect his close-range
shot over the bar.
