Messi, Iniesta, villa, jordi destroy AC Milan to createChampions League history: Barca win 4-0Barca win the tie 4-2 on aggregate andare through to quarter-finals!!

They said it was impossible. It could not be
done. The Italians are too good defenders
to let slip a 2-0 lead. And they only had to
score one to make the tie safe. They said
Barcelona were on the slide losing twice to
Real Madrid in the run-up to this game.
However, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta
showed that greatness rises to the
ocassion and put on a footalling display
that left Barcelona with a storming 4-0 win
over the Italian giants.
Messi opened the scoring with a speed
shot after just five minutes. Barcelona then
dominated the game to the extent that
Milan rarely touched the ball. Niang had
one chance for Milan which he hit the post
with.
After that it was a matter of time. Messi got
his second less than ten minutes from the
end of the first half and Barca went into
the break 2-0 up.
After the break Barca took up where they
left off and while Milan slowly came into
the game, David Villa got the third with a
fine finish.
Both sides made a clutch of changes, with
Bojan Krkic and Robinho coming on for
Milan and sparking what seemed like a late
challenge.
Barca tried to steady the ship bringing on
Sanchez and Puyol and Adriano. As Milan
went in search of the game-saving goal,
Barca found the counter-attack they were
looking for, Jordi Alba finishing the move
and the game with goal No 4.
This is the first time in the history of the
Champions League knock-outs that a team
has come from 2 goals down to win
without the help of an away goal.
All talk was about a calm and composed
Barca not going crazy trying to overturn a
2-0 defecit.
If that was Barca not going crazy, it would
be scary to see them going crazy.
